AN ODE TO LOVE

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jordan and Kael’s summer wedding at Virginia House in Richmond, a venue that felt straight out of an old film. The ceremony took place against a backdrop of the estate’s stone walls and lush gardens. The arches of Virginia House created a sense of romance and quiet European grandeur, like a destination wedding tucked away within the city. With Kael in a crisp cream suit and Jordan modern sculptural bouquet, they both looked effortlessly refined and timeless.

There was something about their day that felt both elegant and down to earth, with a ceremony at Virginia House followed by a reception at Havana 59, a lively Cuban bar downtown. The atmosphere of the entire evening was fabulous with laughter, mojitos, Buena Vista Social Club playing in the background, and later, their entrance to Billie Jean both in handwoven lace outfits.
