RALEIGH WEDDING AT MERRIMON-WYNNE HOUSE
Anna & Justin’s romantic micro-wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Downtown Raleigh
Spring, 2025
AN ODE TO LOVE
Anna and Justin’s wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh was an intimate celebration that felt both deeply personal and timeless.
The day unfolded with an intentional quietness—moments of getting ready together in the historic home, his black tie suit alongside her feminine Jenny Yoo gown, every detail chosen with care. Dinner was served family-style at one long candlelit table, layered with flowers, warmth, and the quiet charm of the Merrimon-Wynne House. It was a dinner that felt less like an event and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.
The evening closed with something truly personal: a carrot cake made from the family’s generational recipe, cut and shared with their guests. For me, this wedding was everything I love about storytelling through photography—a balance of refinement and realness, where editorial artistry meets genuine emotion.
If you’re planning a wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House, or anywhere in the world, I would be honored to tell your story. I am an East Coast and destination-based wedding photographer drawn to weddings that feel both timeless and alive.
Love Notes:
“It is hard to find words! The photos are better than I could have ever hoped to receive. I feel like every photo deserves its own spot light, it’s own frame, its own silent moment. These photos are so powerful and I truly don’t know how you did it. I can’t completely find the words on how my love for Justin is, or our love for each other, but it is written all over these photos.
I don’t just feel like I am looking at my wedding photos, I feel like I am looking at the core of who Justin and I are together. Our intimacy, our longing, and our love. Thank you so much. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you for sharing your gift of photography with us. ”
